Wout van Aert #200801
On August 1, 2020, Wout won the 14th edition of the heroic Strade Bianche. The 190-kilometer course through the beautiful region of Tuscany is a one-of-a-kind race because of its 70 kilometers of unpaved gravel and white sand strips; the Strade Bianche.
Summer edition
The 2020 edition was very special, due to the COVID restrictions. This iconic race is normally held on the first weekend in March, but it was moved to August. The summer edition resulted in extreme heat and dusty conditions. Wout attacked on the last sector of gravel and crossed the finish line solo at Piazza del Campo in Sienna.
To make this legendary moment even more special, Wout is making his career highlight available as an NFT.
